Description
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester is nationally and internationally recognized for its leadership in community pediatrics, pediatric basic and clinical research, and innovative residency training. Golisano Children’s Hospital is home to more than 200 pediatric specialists, offering comprehensive care across more than 40 specialty areas and serving over 85,000 children and their families each year. As the regional referral center for seriously ill or injured children across the 17-county Finger Lakes region and beyond, we are dedicated to a three-part mission: providing exceptional care for children and families, educating future pediatricians and pediatric specialists, and advancing pediatric medicine through groundbreaking research.

This full-time position includes both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, along with dedicated time for academic and administrative activities.
The Division of Adolescent Medicine is dynamic and progressive, embracing a biopsychosocial approach to care. Our areas of clinical expertise include eating disorders, sexual and reproductive health, and the care of LGBTQ+ youth. We aim to align each faculty member’s professional development goals with those of the University, Department, and Division. The successful candidate will bring exceptional interpersonal skills, integrity, warmth, humor, diligence, and energy, and will take pride in both individual and team accomplishments.
