Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

•         Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices.
•         Contribute to the development of DHR Health strategic goals and objectives and the overall management of the organization keeping Executive Leadership informed of all important issues.
•         Advise executive leadership and the Board of Managers on financial planning, cash flow, debt, financial statements audit and tax returns and regulatory matters.  Develop and implement standardized monthly reporting package.
•         Responsible for working directly with department directors and Labor Management department to ensure proper use of human resources,
•         Works directly with Materials Management and Procedural areas directly to developed periodic reporting for case specific profitability for those procedures with high-cost drugs or implants.  Case specific analysis shall include physician practice patterns and alternative vendor selections,
•         Identifies, track and trends financial opportunities and reports out monthly to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board of Managers,
•         Works directly with department leaders to ensure initiatives are appropriate identified, valued and goals are met,
•         Ensure DHR Health is advancing its strategy, delivering status reports to leadership.
•         Selects, trains, motivates, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff to ensure maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities, while providing optimal service to both internal and external customers. Ensures that assigned employees receive opportunities to further their knowledge.
•         Research new trends, markets, potential areas of growth and development for new or expanded service lines.
•         Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS­:

•         BS or BA in Accounting
•         CPA and/or FHFMA Preferred
•         Good written and verbal communication skills required. 
•         Some evening or weekend work will be required

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE­:

•         Ten years of progressive financial leadership experience in the healthcare industry,
•         Strong working knowledge of general acute care hospital, outpatient and ambulatory operations and workflow.
•         Mission-driven professional with agility, energy and aptitude to excel in a progressive organization in alignment with DHR Health values.
•         Track record leading end-to-end projects, managing a high volume of work with efficiency, and being able to execute effectively, shift priorities and              solve problems creatively.
•         Demonstrated ability to engage in both strategic and tactical thinking related to overall organizational leadership.
