Job Description: Twelve-month tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Nursing, tenure is based upon the nine-month portion of the appointment.
Position: The Division of Nursing at Louisiana Tech University seeks candidates to fill twelve-month tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Nursing with tenure based upon the nine-month portion of the appointment. This position supports the Director of the Division of Nursing in overseeing clinical activities for the ASN and RN-BSN programs. Responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining clinical partnerships, managing contracts and compliance, and coordinating clinical schedules with faculty and partnering agencies. The role ensures adherence to LSBN and institutional requirements, provides orientation, mentoring, and evaluation for adjunct faculty, and contributes to program evaluation through data collection and reporting. Additional duties include clinical instruction two quarter per years, student advising, serving on committees, assisting with grant proposals, and other duties as assigned. The anticipated starting date for this position is December 1, 2025.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in nursing required, minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience, and hold a current, unencumbered registered nurse license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Louisiana.
The Program: Offering an Associate of Science in Nursing and an online RN to BSN option, the Division of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN).
