Allina Health is seeking an experienced board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing oncology team in Minnesota, serving patients across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro and surrounding communities. As a Gynecologic Oncologist at Allina Health, you will step into a highly collaborative environment where advanced care, innovation, and compassion intersect. You’ll work alongside expert colleagues within the Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI)—a system-wide cancer care program committed to delivering transformative outcomes across the region.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Clinical Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers, including diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, chemotherapy, and follow-up care.
- Performs detailed consultations, evaluations, and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Stays informed about gynecologic oncology by participating in continuous education, research, and professional activities.
- Participates in clinical trials and research to enhance patient care and contribute to the advancement of the specialty.
- Provides consultation and surgical support to general OB/GYN practitioners and other surgical fields.
- Ensures services are delivered according to recognized care standards and ethical practices in medicine.
- Demonstrates commitment to patient care and survivorship through knowledge in gynecological oncology and excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
- Completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
- Completion of Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gynecology Oncology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
- Experience in conducting minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
- Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
BLS certification from the American Red Cross
Allina in-house BLS training (within 90 days of hire) - Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate required upon hire
- Prescription Monitoring Program required upon hire
- National Provider Identifier required upon hire
Physical Demands
- Medium Work*:
- Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $477,006 to $499,990 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
