Opportunity Details
- Position Type: 1.0 FTE
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Geriatrics
- Hospital/Practice Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Geriatrics sees patients in a variety of settings: home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
- Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm
- Call Requirements: Shared among providers; home call only
- Visit length: adequate to meet complex patient population

Requirements
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates.
- Physicians: Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
