Description
Complete Eye Care is seeking an ophthalmologist to join a comprehensive ophthalmology practice in Spring/Summer 2026.
Currently the practice is performing medical,
optical, and surgical services, including cataract, glaucoma, cornea and oculoplastics procedures and intravitreal injections. The practice receives, on average, 60 new patient referrals/week and is overwhelmed with the demand for its services.
Surgical services are performed in a seven room multispecialty freestanding ASC located 10 minutes from the oce. The ASC is a joint venture between the hospital and the physicians in the community. New physicians who demonstrate a commitment to practice in the community, join the surgery center partnership on a regular basis.
The practice is located in Merced, CA, a small city in Central California with a population of approximately 120,000. Monterey, San Francisco, and Yosemite are approximately two hours away by car.
The University of California opened the 10th campus here 15 years ago with an emphasis on science and engineering. This year, UC Merced began construction of the basic science building for a planned Medical School.
Outdoor enthusiasts have golf, snow skiing, water sports, cycling, hiking, backpacking, river rafting and other activities available nearby. In addition, many of the physicians in the area own farms and/or second homes on the coast or in the mountains.
