The Dermatology Center of Winchester is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice specializes in medical, surgical, and Mohs dermatology, providing exceptional patient care in a professional, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting with a strong commitment to quality and continuity of care.
The position involves evaluating and managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions, performing biopsies and other office-based procedures, assisting with surgical follow-up care, and educating patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive skin health. You will work closely with our board-certified dermatologists and Mohs surgeons in a collegial, team-based environment.
This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted Virginia PA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Current NCCPA certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of dermatology experience preferred (new graduates with strong dermatology rotations and references will be considered)
- Proficiency in performing common dermatologic procedures (shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, etc.)
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and patient communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional ethics
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a team-oriented clinical environment
